thrill is gone
May 8th, 2006
thrill is gone, come out and reign your life. come and out ask for forgiveness. i can see the fucking fear as it reflects the blood. but believe me the thrill is gone, at least for now.

Unfortunatly we dont have heavy-screamer kind of woman around lately. even the regular singers just lip synch and so on.
Guano Apes is by far the best heavy rock band with a woman infront. they formed the band in 1994 and got fucked up in 2005. the original stand of the band and that gothic look, made them one of the most successful band of time in germany. todays song is Big in japan Cover(or better to say remake) by them.
The German band; Alphavile wrote “Big in Japan” in 1984 which rock the charts by topping billboard dance chart.
Transforming the song from mild dance to heavy and up tempo rock, Guano Apes did a great job. This song first appeared on their “Dont Give Me Names” album(released in 2000).

speakin of punk always reminds us of some lame ass-tattoo suckers who vibe(or least pretending to) our nerves.
well me as for one dont enjoy that kind of music(that much) But i do enjoy some post-modern, old school punk, so here is da thang for tonight; “should i stay or should i go” by The Clash.

House of Rising Sun(by animals) is one of my all time favorites. the opening riff bang my head even and even today!
Eric Burdon sound seems to come straight from the seventh sky!
the organ solo is the best in rock music history.(im a big fan of organ and saxo solos)
This song melody has it routes from some old english ballad and the lyrics is a u.s folk song(tough the animals change some lines)

I had some problems choosing what song to open this harch corner up and guess what; instead of taking some begining-related song i chosed a ballad.
“beggars and hangers and on”, has aerosmith - zeppo and maybe little of judas.
its not a master piece but is a good sample of Mid 90’s and Mostly reminds me of aerosmith - big ones.
I dont know who wrote the lyrics but it seems slash had a hand on it. not only the music but the lyrics theme is most to close to velvet revolver - falling to pieces.
